The promotional event for the upcoming film Housefull 5 in Pune turned chaotic on Sunday, June 1, 2025. Held at Seasons Mall, the event featured stars Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nana Patekar, Nargis Fakhri, Soundarya Sharma, and Fardeen Khan. What was intended as a fan interaction quickly escalated into a near-stampede situation as the crowd surged upon the cast's arrival.
Videos circulating online depict women and children in distress, with some crying amid the overwhelming crowd. A particularly poignant moment involved a young girl who, after being separated from her parents, broke down near the stage. Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Bajwa stepped in to comfort her, assuring her safety.
